BABS as a component of insulating plaster
Facades must be renovated from time to time. The integration of a thermal insulation would be desirable, but is often not possible due to cost reasons. The use of BABS as a component of the facade plaster can be the ideal solution here, especially in older buildings. The porous structure of BABS provides excellent insulation properties.
CORMO, under the leadership of a globally active industrial partner, has prepared the BABS foam so that it can be sprayed onto the building facades as a mixture with a mineral mortar using conventional spraying equipment. The cost of this insulation effect is significantly lower compared to thermal insulation systems applying insulation boards.
